Professionalization in Teacher Education

Teaching

We regularly offer bachelor’s and master’s courses on student assessment and instructional support. Additionally, we are responsible for coordinating the teaching practicum semester (“Praxissemester”) in all teacher education programs except for special education.

For general questions regarding the practical semester, please contact:
ifbpraxis@uni-wuppertal.de

If you received a place:

You must attend the first session to confirm your spot. Seminar places not confirmed will be given to students on the waiting list.

If you not received a place:

Please use the “first-come, first-served” procedure (Windhundverfahren) to secure any remaining available spots. If you are unable to get a spot through this method, we encourage you to attend the first session and add your name to the waiting list on site.

Available spots will be allocated based on two criteria: first according to the number of semesters studied (Fachsemester) and then by lottery during the first session.

Please note that moving up into the course can only occur through these two procedures and only until the first seminar session. We will be forming groups and planning the semester during this meeting, so it is important to adhere to this timeline.

We kindly ask that you do not send personal emails to the lecturer. Thank you for your understanding.
